As many of you may or may not know, back in the day www.deadspin.com and Will Leitch were an inspiration to me. I loved that blog. No day was complete until we had a chance to weigh in with what ol Will had to say about some high profile athletes. It was golden.
Then Will left Deadspin (he still makes guests posts from time to time) and we were left with a guy by the name of AJ Daulerio. Nice. Ol AJmis from Philly, just what us Cowboys fans needed. A guy on the most popular sports blog in America from the City of Brotherly Shove. I thought when the Phillies won the World Series, that we were going to have to hear AJ crow for the rest of the calendar year. Of course if my Rangers were to sniff the World Series I’d be crowing to, but I digress.
At any rate, if AJ weren’t enough, there is a new sheriff in town. Jay Mariotti. What do we have here? An Italian Mafia at Deadspin?
Apparantly, Mariotti is being railroaded out of Chicago. I can’t seem to find too many folks in Chicago that has anything good to say about him.
There was even a Fire Jay Mariotti blog for crying out loud.
Where the hell is Will when we need him?
