Nothing like big stories to solve writer’s block

I don’t claim to be much of a writer, but for the past 24-48 hours, it’s been hell thinking of something to write about. One of the big ways I figure out what to write about is read current events and what’s happening now. This helped me today in fact. Some pretty big news stories are going opn right now.

UPDATE: The report has now changed to indicate “at least” two NFL players missing instead of three. The Coast Guard identified the players as Raider linebacker Marquis Cooper and Lion defensive end Corey Smith. The identity of one of the other passengers is Nick Skyler.

Believed to be about 50 miles off the shore of Clearwater, Fla., the boat supposedly is holding four passengers total. At around 1:30 AM ET on Sunday, the Coast Guard was informed by friends of the passengers that the boat hadn’t returned from a fishing trip that left early Saturday morning.
