`Golden Girls’ star Bea Arthur dies at 86

Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows “Maude” and “The Golden Girls” and who won a Tony Award for the musical “Mame,” died Saturday. She was 86.

Arthur died peacefully at her Los Angeles home with her family at her side, family spokesman Dan Watt said. She had cancer, Watt said, declining to give details.

I’m absolutely having a blast today. A day filled  with feeling good and appreciating feeling good, is making me feel ecstatic.

Today is draft day in the NFL. Records are being set for the draft as we speak.

The Texas Rangers are winning their game against Baltimore 5-1.

And the Mavericks are up 3-1 in their series with the San Antonio Spurts. (Sorry Lacey)

A big record broken in today’s NFL draft

It’s a big day for North Texas as far as NFL players getting drafted.

It’s the first time in NFL history that 3 players get drafted in the top 10 from the same area of the country.

1). Matthew Stafford from Highland Park High School in Dallas

2). Jason Smith from W.T White High School in Dallas

3). Michael Crabtree fromn Carter High School in Dallas.

It’s a record folks. Dallas produces some great NFL players.
