The San Diego Padres recently announced a new partnership with TaylorMade Golf, highlighted by a piece of ballpark signage that is anything but par for the course: an 88-foot R11 replica driver along the right field foul pole.
What a great idea if you are a minor league team looking for a way to create some advertising for profit.

With the arrival of baseball comes the dreams of sitting in right field with peanuts a dog and a beer enjoying the glorious sunshine and heat.
It’s also the time to request media credentials for various ballparks and Texas Motor Speedway as well.
I plan to expand my presence at local sporting events to give you, the readers of my blog, the unwavering support that you deserve for your patronage here. It’s going to be awesome!
My plans include press credentials for the Grand Prairie Airhogs, the Frisco Rough Riders, and dare we say Texas Rangers? I can try right?
